El artículo forma parte de la investigación Fortalecimiento de la Estructura Ecológica Principal a partir de la identificación y selección de especies para la arborización urbana, que se lleva a cabo en siete ciudades colombianas.

objetivos y metodología

El estudio busca determinar el estado actual de la arborización en la ciudad de Palmira, así como identificar las especies arbóreas más recomendadas para mejorar la estructura ecológica principal de la ciudad.

The authors provide an overview of the REDD+ program and deforestation in Africa. They addressed limitations fo REDD+ and noted that because each community is different, each project must be tailored to the individual needs of communities.
