Moreover, information about plantations establishment is provided, including topics such as; the width of roads, definition of protected areas, improvement of the wood, soil preparation, weeding and herbicide application , fertilization, and fire protection needed to maintain a plantation. Additionally, information about the main diseases and infestations that affect certain trees in a plantation is given.
